Hundreds are expected to cast their ballots on the key issues that will determine their vote in this years general elections as the Joy Ballot Box pitches camp at the Klottey Korle Constituency in the Greater Accra Region.
The Joy Ballot Box is an innovative JOY NEWS programme that simulates voting on Election Day as a vehicle for teasing out the key issues that will drive the elections.
After hugely successful stops in the Central and Ashanti Regions over the last two months, the Joy Ballot Box is this week pitching camp at the Klottey Korley Constituency.
The constituency, which used to host the seat of government has some very important communities like Osu, Adabraka and Asylum Down.
JOY NEWS has already sent out several branded ballot boxes into the constituency. Constituents are required to write down the key issues that will influence their vote this year on ballot papers provided at the various locations and drop them into the boxes.
There are ballot boxes in front of Shoprite at the Osu Oxford Street Mall, the Champion restaurant at Adabraka on the Kojo Thompson road and the Trust Towers also at Adabraka.
Also, mobile boxes will be at the Ghana Institute of Journalism and in some of the coastal communities within the constituency.
The issues that emerge from the ballot boxes will form the basis of a live forum where the parliamentary candidates from the various political parties will articulate their partys plan for dealing with the issues.
The live forum will be broadcast live from the Oxford Street Mall first floor terrace, right above the Shoprite between 5:30pm and 7pm on Friday, 29th April with an active audience.
