Meizu's Blue Charm lineup gained popularity in lots of markets. It had four models already - the m1, m1 note, m2 and m2 note, and as of today the number jumps to five with the introduction of the Blue Charm metal.

The Meizu metal has been in the rumorland for quite some time and it won't be much of a surprise if you followed our news closely. As the name suggests, the smartphone is made entirely of metal.

The 5.5" 1080p LTPS display is covered by a protective Dinorex T2X-1 glass with 2.5D effect thanks to curved edges. The NEG's Dinorex T2X-1 glass is both scratch and shock resistant.

The Meizu metal runs on the MediaTek's Helio X10 chip with an octa-core 2.0GHz Cortex-A53 processor, PowerVR G6200 (Rogue) GPU and 2GB of RAM. You can get it with 16 or 32 GB internal storage, but both models offer microSD expansion (replacing the second SIM card).

Other key features of the Meizu metal include a 13MP main camera with dual-tone dual-LED flash, a 5MP selfie snapper, a fingerprint scanner embedded within the Home key (as on the MX5), LTE connectivity and dual-SIM support. There battery unit powering the metal is a 3,140 mAh Sony/ATL one.

Meizu metal runs on Android Lollipop with Flyme 5.1 launcher. You can get it in white, gold, gray, blue, and pink flavors.

The metal is available in China for CNY 1,099 (16GB, 150) and CNY 1,299 (32GB, 180). Retailers outside China has already listed the Meizu metal for pre-order and its costs $199 for the 16GB model.
