In fact, from this angle, the dashboard styling, layout and switchgear look identical to the XE.One thing we noticed on this tester besides Jaguar Land Rovers latest-generation InControl touchscreen multimedia system on the center console is the manual gearbox shifter. Apparently, while higher-performance models will be offered with Jaguar's eight-speed automatic, entry- and perhaps, mid-level engines such as the 2.0-liter turbo diesel fitted on this prototype will feature a manual gearbox option just like the new XE. Together with the delivering up to 200PS (197hp) and 2.0-liter petrols with up to 240PS (237hp), the F-Pace's range will also include a 3.0-liter supercharged petrol V6 with 340hp and 436Nm (32 lb-ft) of torque. A top-end 5.0-liter supercharged V8 could come into the picture later on. With , Jaguar will target the entire luxury compact SUV segment, from the sportier Porsche Macan and BMW X4 to the more conventional Mercedes GLK and Audi Q5.
